Getting Started: You will need a stick no higher than your belly button, cross trainer type shoes with good grip, mouth guard (either from Dentist or chemist shop) and shin pads. Either stirling sports or Rebel sports in Pukekohe are great places to start. Just Hockey (AKL) for those who want the best and the latest gear. You will also need to purchase club socks (red with 2 blue strips at the top) and a pair of red shorts. Please remember that no mouth guard or shin pads means no game on the day. Pukekohe United socks are available from Mel Clarke Menswear – next to Bendon Shop in Pukekohe or Stirling sports in Pukekohe
